How
It
Works
Step 1: Purchasing the Coaching Package from the AOS Member Site
Navigate to the AOS Member page and select the Coaching Package option to pay the fee. Your fee pays for one year of Personalized Coaching from Jen of Anesthesia OneSource.
Note: Your one-year AOS Coaching Package is set to automatically renew at the end of the year. Make sure to cancel the payment before the Coaching Package renews to avoid being charged for another year of Coaching (unless you want another year of Coaching).
Step 2: Welcome!
After your purchase, you’ll receive a “Welcome!” email from Jen of Anesthesia OneSource. You’ll be asked your availability for a Welcome Zoom session or phone call to explain more details about the AOS Coaching Package, as well as what to expect and goals for your one year Coaching Package.
Step 3: Initial Goals Are Set
Your initial goals and action items will be determined during the Welcome Session/Phone Call. Any questions you have will be answered, and you’ll be instructed on how to submit your materials for your initial Student Application Review.
Step 4: What Happens After Application Materials Are Received?
After your materials are received, not only will a full Student Application Review be conducted to develop your game plan for the year, but together, we’ll also determine what needs to be worked on right now to get the application process started.
Anesthesia OneSource will do a review of all of your materials and return any edited application items to you as soon as possible including a full Prerequisite Review, Edited CV/Resume, Edited Article Summary, or Edited Personal Statement, or even more suggestions on how to obtain shadowing if needed.
Step 5: What to Expect During the Year
Jen will check in with you often to see how you’re doing on working toward your goals that were determined during the Welcome Zoom session/phone call. Jen will also be available to you whenever you have questions, which can be addressed during Zoom sessions, phone calls, or WhatsApp messaging whenever you need it! Toward the end of your year of Coaching, Jen will conduct another full Student Application Review to make sure your application is in tip-top shape to be submitted!
Bonus: Accessing the Content
Just like with the AOS Member Site, you can browse the catalog of AOS Member Site's exclusive video content featuring Jen from Anesthesia OneSource going into detail about all aspects of your application. You can access these items immediately after purchasing the AOS Coaching Package and for however long the AOS Member Site exists. You’ll notice broadly applied recommendations on the AOS Member Site, but you’ll receive Personalized Recommendations from your Coaching Package, which contains much of the same information as the AOS Member Site, but tailored to your needs.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Other than two full Student Application Reviews, free downloads in the AOS Member Shop, and the Video Library and blog roll, you’ll receive priority access to Jennifer of Anesthesia OneSource to answer all of your questions and to help you along the way.
Jennifer is available via text, email, or scheduled phone calls or Zoom sessions….whatever meets your needs!

The quick answer is 1-2 years before you plan on applying.
The Coaching Package is best for those students who are planning ahead to apply.
If you are a traditional college student, you should purchase the Coaching Package during your Sophomore year or just before your Junior year of college.
This allows you to have a plan set in place for Junior and Senior year, as you would apply to matriculate into a CAA program during your Junior year with hopes to start a program at the end of your Senior year upon graduation.
If you are a non-traditional student, you should purchase the Coaching Package about two years before the beginning of the cycle you wish to apply in.
For example: if you want to matriculate into a program in May 2028, you should purchase the Coaching Package before March 2026 so that your application is fully ready by March 2027 to apply when the application cycle opens.
This timeline can be adjusted based on the month in which you think you will be ready to apply if it’s not exactly when the CASAA application cycle opens.
If your goal is to apply to programs that are available in CASAA when the cycle opens (rolling admissions), then your initial Student Application Review would be in March 2026 to develop a plan for the next 12 months to get your application ready to apply in March 2027 for program admission in 2028.
For both student types, if you’ve already been working on Prerequisites and have good grades, you could get by with purchasing the Coaching Package one year in advance.
The two year option is for students starting from scratch who may not have had much direction along their journey.
In either situation, you will only need one-year access to the Coaching Package as your road map to success will be laid out during your year with Anesthesia OneSource Coaching to help you plan for the future, whatever it may bring.
Both traditional and non-traditional students will receive a secondary full Student Application Review just before applying to make sure you’ve achieved the goals set forth during your year of Coaching with Anesthesia OneSource.
