How
It
Works

Step 1. Choose the week you want your session to occur in

Sessions are scheduled weekly starting on Mondays. Your specific session date and time will be scheduled with your input after Anesthesia OneSource receives your materials. Most sessions occur in the evenings after 6:30pm EST Monday-Thursday

Step 2. Send your materials

After you make your purchase once selecting the week you want your session to occur, you’ll receive an automatic email with instructions on how to submit your materials. You have two options: follow the link provided in the email, or attach and email the materials to info@anesthesiaoneouce.com

Step 3. Waiting….

After Anesthesia OneSource receives your materials, you’ll be emailed a list of options for dates and times for the Zoom session to occur. All times are Eastern Standard Time. During this waiting period, Anesthesia OneSource is diligently reviewing all of your materials including re-writing parts of your Personal Statement if needed., editing your CV/Resume, and developing your Personalized Recommendations. Your transcripts are also being reviewed to determine if you’re missing any courses for whichever programs you want to apply to. A list of courses that it is recommended to retake are provided as well as a list of missing courses or courses that might not be at the correct level will also be provided. Anesthesia OneSource may reach out with questions to clarify information during this time.

Step 4.Session Time!

The time has come! Anesthesia OneSource has completed your review and now you are excitedly awaiting feedback! During this Zoom session, we go over all parts of your application with ample opportunity for you to ask questions and receive answers. You’ll see all of the edits that were made to your materials as well as be able to brainstorm with Anesthesia OneSource to perfect your Personal Statement. Once the session is over, edited materials are returned to you within 7 days along with your Prerequisite Review and Personalized Recommendations. The reason for the delay is so that Anesthesia OneSource can perfect materials after we fine tune them during the Zoom session.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most programs require at least 8 hours of shadowing (with CWRU requiring 16 hours and UMKC requiring 4 hours), however, you should really have enough hours to comfortably understand the CAA profession.

  • Most programs want (at the very least) a 50th percentile or higher. Though, some programs will accept a litter lower than that, and some will accept a little higher than that.

  • AS SOON AS POSSIBLE when your application is perfect. Meaning: earlier applicants get looked at first. However, you have to make sure you’re meeting the requirements before applying. If your application is incomplete, it may get rejected right away.

  • This depends greatly on when programs matriculate and when they are holding interviews. Also, some programs wait until the application cycle closes before sending rejection emails. Some programs don’t send any response at all, leaving applicants to wonder what happened. If you find yourself in this situation, you should prepare to reapply.

Generally speaking, if you’re going to be offered a seat in a program, it will be within a couple of weeks of your interview. Some applicants are notified the next day, some the next week, but it seems that most programs try to notify applicants as soon as they can after their interview to offer them a seat in their program. The key though: you need the interview to be offered a seat. You will not be offered a seat without an interview.
